Hijabi Basic Wardrobe Must-Haves

For a hijabi (those who wears hijab or headscarf) like me, there are things that are crucial for my day to day endeavor. I know, most of us have long lists of our must-haves. But here are the most basic things that we really need.

1. Black, white, or any hijab in neutral or earthly color

Of course, you are a hijabi because you wear hijab. You need these colors for the fact that they can go with any other colour in your outfit. At least, you may not worry about what colour your hijab must be. And be sure that your hijabs are comfortable to wear. Otherwise, you will be spending the whole day wanting to remove it. And you do not want that to happen.

2. Long sleeved shirts

Long sleeved shirts are your bestfriends if you are the type of person who likes to wear short-sleeved or sleeveless shirts, etc. You can wear them as inner shirt. And you are ready to go. But be sure that it does not hug you or else the modesty is perished.

3. Cardigans

If you are the type of person who wants to wear tanktops as inners, then cardigan is your savior. You can just grab a cardigan and pair it with any skirt or pants. And you're good to go. I personally love wearing cardis on a lazy day. It just makes everything simpler without so much of thinking.

4. Hijab pins and brooches

You are not good to go unless you have pins. They keep your hijab safe and in place. Unless you want to be kept all day rearranging your hijab, you would prefer to securing it with pins. And what a way to enjoy it than by having cute and beautiful pins? You could always play with pins and brooches. There are plenty of styles in the boutiques already.

5. Tights

You might think that you don't need them but you really do. Sometimes, skirts can still be sheer in the sunlight. Thus, you need to be sure that no skin is seen. That's the time you need to wear tights or leggings. Just in case. And please, don't wear tights like what you see in the photo above. It's not modest in the first place. >.<

That's all for my hijabi must-haves. If you have other ideas, tell me.

    1. That's always been my problem. I'd love a white scarf for summer but I just worry about it looking dirty straight away : s

  6. I think it wouldn't be too hot if the type of is something that preserves the cold. I use  long sleeves, but the ones I find are those that are very comfy and actually cold! Kahit mainit pa outside. But it's so interesting to find out about how basic these are, but then you can ump them with creativity. :D I really love how you assemble your looks, sis! <3

  7. I remember my ex boyf's mum explaining all these to me (since they were assuming I'd be with him till the end) and I remember asking her if it were okay to wear colored hijabs and she laughed at me like I was a silly little girl. LOL. Hmmm. Oh the things I did for love. Chos! But I extremely like the white hijab in the photo. So classy! <3
