"Where I've Been So Far"

Ibn `Umar relates that Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) placed his hand on his shoulder and said:
“Be in the world as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer.”

Life in this world is indeed both a gift and temporary journey. We understand the hadith above as not being complacent with our lives on earth - for anytime it can be taken away from us by The One Who truly owns it.

For one to truly be full of humility, he has to see the beauty of the world to understand His Magnificence. Moreover, the man has to comprehend that ease and difficulty in this temporal world come hand in hand.

For me, I experience all of these when I travel. Experiencing the life of a foreigner in a new country makes me more humble, kind and enduring. I become prayerful during trips. I become trusting to people around me. I also become one with myself.

I have always dreamt of traveling the world, even as a child. And in sha Allah, I will make this dream come true - slowly. Here's a map of where I've been so far. It isn't much yet, but I fully believe that I can reach more countries in the days to come!

Follow my adventures through my hashtag, #lilpinktravels, on social media. Or you can read about them here on my blog with the same tagline, Lilpink Travels.

List of countries I've been to:
1. Philippines
2. Brunei Darussalam
3. Japan
4. Malaysia
5. Singapore

If you are interested in funding my travels in exchange of fully informative blogposts, video logs, and social media presence, please don't hesitate to send me a holler at k@kaidarul.com. I may also charge a little amount for my blogging expenses. 😉
