Getting Ready For Formal Occasions

Grooming yourself up for formal occasions such as prom can be really hard especially if you are not the type that always go to events like that. There are several things to keep in mind when getting ready. And here are the top 3 of them.

1. Dress
Choosing what to wear can be painstakingly long. Per experience, this is the hardest part. You have to make sure that the dress fits the motif and theme of the event. You can choose from variety of dresses such as cocktail dresses, evening gowns, and coat and ties. For a hijabi like me, choosing the best dress is really hard since it needs not only to be beautiful and elegant but modest too.

2. Shoes
Of course, you would really wear shoes to the event. This is also a vital part of your get up. So, choosing the best shoes is a requirement. The shoes you wear need to have two attributes: beauty (elegance) and comfort. Otherwise, you would be spending the whole event looking ugly or being uncomfortable.

3. Bag/Purse
To use bag or purse is a question that only you could answer. But, most of the girls I know want to bring purse for their lipstick, phone, money and hanky. Purses can also be of great use especially when a person is harassing you. Kidding.

Aside from those mentioned, you may also want to wear accessories and jewelries. Makeup is also vital if you want to look your best.

However you get ready to the event, the best thing that you need to wear is your smile.
