Maria Cristina Falls With Bestfriend and Mom

This is way beyond long overdue post. We went to MC NPC last year in December. As I was cleaning my hard drive today, I saw these photos and thought that I have not posted about it yet as what I promised way back in Dec. And after four months, here it is finally.

When my bestfriend visited me, we spent all of our cash in just a week. Duh! It was the time that we got to be with each other after almost two years. That's enough reason to roam and eat everywhere we please.

So, anyway, you haven't gone to Iligan if you weren't able to reach Maria Cristina Falls. I had to take her there. It was all worth it. ^____^

She is now in Pampanga for her work. And now that I am graduating and moving to Manila, we'll probably be seeing each other more. ^____^ She has moolah, yknow. hahaha. Someone will be having a spending spree on me! Lol! I kid.

Maria Cristina NPC is a place in Iligan City where it is perfect to have picnics and spend the time together with your family. Nature's Park is also very educational for the kids. Too bad, when we went there, I couldn't see any of the animals that used to be there way back in 2011. There is a zipline that crosses the falls, I mean the river if that's what it's called.

Getting to Maria Cristina Falls:

Ride a Buruun jeepney. The fare is Php 13 as of Dec 2012. Tell the jeepney driver that you will be stopping at Ma. Cristina Nature's Park. The ride is about 20 minutes or so, depending on the driver. :P

When you reach NPC, you'll have to pay Php 25 (students, minors) and Php 45 (adults) [per Dec 2012 rates] at the counter as an entrance fee. Then a shuttle will take you to the places around the park.

Enjoy! :)

Next post is gonna be about our Marawi travel together.

  3. Wow that's a wonderful place. :) And there's a wishing well too! Have you tried zipline? 'cos me, NEVER! LOL I'm afraid of heights >.< Ano na kaya nangyari sa mga animals? Sigh. Sana nilipat lang sila. Poor creatures. :(

Mukhang dami niyo pupuntahan ngayong summer ha. :) Have fun sis! :)
