Independence - Almost

It's official. I am going to the dormitory tomorrow. My life as an independent woman (lol) commences too. And yes, my mom is eager to send me there too much. It's not that she is excited to let me go. It's because she wants me to get used to the dorm life before review classes start on June.

I kinda am not thrilled to go because I will be living on my own. It's not that I can't make it on my own. It's just that I am not used to not seeing my mom always.

I don't know what's in store. But this is it. I have to embrace reality. Sooner or later, I'd have to be on my own. I guess, this is where everything starts.

Please always include me in your dua. I badly need it.

JazakAllaah khair. Salaam.

  1. I tried living in a dorm in China in my third year high school. I actually enjoyed my freedom and the independence I got. But I also got homesick halfway my stay. Though it may be hard, we have to get out of out comfort zone to be able to innovate.

  3. All the best sis (sorry, I'm gong backwards with the blog posts lol). Maybe I was confused earlier when you graduated, but the review course is for an exam or? Is it something that all graduates have to do, before working?
