Cagayan de Oro City Photowalk - City Hall Vicinity

I have been residing in Iligan City for almost five years already; but, I have never roamed around its neighbor Cagayan de Oro. I was so glad that I was able to do so with the help of the Iligan Bloggers Society, Inc and kuya Ding.

Last Saturday,we went to CdeO for the prelaunch tour at the soon-to-open Ayala Centrio (post will be up in the coming days). Prior to the tour, we had a photowalk wherein we roamed around the City by foot in order to take beautiful snaps.

CAVEAT! This post will have a lot of photos (and it's just part 1). Well, what else do you expect? It's a photo walk, right?

1. The Old City Museum.

I wonder if they still let people in. I personally think that this is the best place to shoot Rapunzel. haha. I personally love the towery feeling and the tree on it's side.

2. City Park.

First, I don't know the name of this park. So, I just named it City Park. ^^ Kuya Ding said that in the middle of this park is a fountain. Sadly, they did not turn it on that time. Oh well.

3. The City Hall.

The City Hall is just in front of the park. It is the perfect example of an ensemble of the old City and the modern one. In its facade, the Spanish architecture welcomes you. But when you enter, you will feel the modernity of the building.

Inside the Cagayan de Oro City Hall

I've decided to take photos such as this one in every place I go. ^^ Watch out for more floor photos in this blog. haha

Back portion of the old City Hall building. So vintageeyyy.
Back portion of the new City hall building. So modern.

4. The Cagayan River
At the back of the City Hall, you will find the river. And I have no more words to say about it. ^^

I am so amazed at this photo. The cloud and the writing "Be Honest" is congruent. ^^

That's where my feet took me that day. I still have more entries for Cagayan de Oro City. ^^ Again, I wanna thank IBS especially ate Lai and ate Jams, and kuya Ding of CDO Bloggers for that day. Domo Arigatoo Gozaimasu.

  1. Cool!! their architectural style is really nice.. it doesn't look like a museum at all since most of them have a square shape and Greek architectural character.. :D

    Cheers~!
