Nuffnang Blog Awards, Here I Come

If you have been reading my blog for quite sometime, you will probably notice the advertisement from Nuffnang about the NAPBAS 2011 (Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards).

Nuffnang is the Google Adsense of Asia Pacific. Though, the ads in Nuffnang are more elegant. Biased opinions aside, Nuffnang Ads have always been elegant and beautiful. They can really hype up the website. I have been with Nuffnang for quite sometime but it is just this year that I have taken advertisements seriously.

I have read about Nuffnang Blog Awards in many of Xiaxue’s entries and it made me dream to be in the actual event. This year, the Nuffnang Blog Awards will be in Putra Jaya Marriott, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on December 16, 2011. A number of 500 bloggers will flock to Malaysia. The Awards aims to not only honour the region’s best bloggers, but also to bring together blogger communities from across Asia-Pacific. Did I tell you that Nuffnang Blog Awards was brought by Volkswagen Malaysia and Putrajaya Marriott? Yes! Spell A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

So, why the hell would I want to go to NAPBAS2011?

 1. Meet, greet, and befriend bloggers from all over Asia and the Pacific.

Nuffnang is not just a company. It is a family of bloggers and advertisers in the Asia-Pacific. And this event will ultimately help us, noob bloggers, on how to keep our blogs upfront, informative, and stylish. Bloggers from Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, HongKong, Thailand, China and Australia will be present in the said blog awards. It is, therefore, implied that I will be learning a lot from these bloggers.

I mean, blogging is not just about letting you know how my day went, right? It’s far more than that. As what Commissioner Naderev Saño said in the Mindanao Bloggers Summit, blogs are what keep Google alive and kicking. Without bloggers, Google will not be as informative as it is now.

Yes! Those three pretty girls above are my blog icons and I know that they will be present in the NAPBAS2011. They have inspired my blog from its design to the posts. So, I would like to meet and thank them personally for the inspiration they have given me. I don’t know if some of my blog icons from Malaysia will be present too but I would really love to see them there especially some cool Muslim bloggers.

I bet some cool Filipino bloggers will be present too. Ah! It would be a pleasure seeing them all!

 2. Get a chance to tour Kuala Lumpur!

Aside from having the time of my life meeting fellow bloggers and oozing myself with inspiration, I would love to tour around the city of Kuala Lumpur. Why else would I want to go there if I don’t wanna take the tour, right? Malaysia is one of the best countries in Southeast Asia and Kuala Lumpur is one of the dream cities. If given a chance to be with NAPBAS, I will love to see the beauty of the country. I would really love to visit Petaling Street, Petronas Towers, and KL Tower. Well, if it’s possible, I want to go to Genting Highlands too. Yay! Too many to mention eh?

I have always been fascinated by Malaysia. I even dream of living there. I mean, KL has everything. From shopping to education to life, everything can be experienced there. The fact that it is a Muslim place makes me secured and happy too.

I would also love to go and see my relatives in KL as well. I haven’t seen them since childhood.

 3. Shop till I drop!

You will probably say that I am extravagant. But Malaysia is the only place where you can shop beautiful scarves (hijabs), and modest clothings. It is really hard finding them here in the Philippines.

I’ve even researched on the malls in KL already (click here). Still, I want to go to bazaars and China Town to find some cheap and cool items. I won’t have to order to Malaysian online shops for hijabs and I can get discounts too. Hell yeah! It would be a one of a kind experience.

Thank you so much to Nuffnang for gathering once again the bloggers from the region. Surely, you are the only advertising company that does not only sees bloggers as business perspective. I really really really wanna go to NAPBAS2011. I hope and wish that NAPBAS2011 would love me to be there too! <3
